Plaquemine Council 970 is located on Price Street and faces the South side of St. John Elementary & High Schools.The Grand Knight for 2008-2009 is Joey Daigle. You can contact the Knights by phone at 225-687-2061, or by email at grandknight@kc970.org.

Officer's meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber. General Membership meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chamber.

Council 970 was founded February 19, 1905 and was the first council west of the Mississippi in Louisiana and the third in the state. To learn the complete history of the council, click here.
